Roger D. Mattox

Born in Heavener Oklahoma. March 22nd 1949. Graduate of Howe High School Howe, Oklahoma. Received a call to the ministry at 13 years old. Started preaching as a teenager (14 years old) Studied for the ministry through Global University and NACC in Arkansas.

Married Barbra in 1967 We have 3 Sons, 11 Grandchildren and 3 great Grandchildren. With over 35 years of experience in Pastoral Ministry in Arkansas Oklahoma and California. Traveled as an evangelist for 12 years preaching revivals Camp Meeting and other conferences.

Has held many titles and offices with the AG in the district Board in Oklahoma of the AG. At the National Offices of the United States AG Benevolence Department and 3 years as the National Disaster Relief Director for the USA. It was in 1987 I made my first missionary trip, feel in love with Africa and Africans. “I wasn’t born in Africa but Africa was born in me”.

In year 2,000 I resigned the offices I held and Barbra and I started Oasis International Ministries Inc.  Serving as Founding Director and President of OIM from then till the present. Through Oasis we have built 85 Worship Centers, supported over 1,500 ministers to go to Bible, supported orphanages, dug water wells to supply fresh clean drinking water.

After over 50 missions’ trips, I felt the leading of the Lord to open a Bible School for training Pastors. We will celebrate the opening of Oasis Bible Institute. OBI on October 1st 2024.

 I am a United States Marine.  As My God enables me, my heart is to reach all of Africa for Christ Jesus.

Through Training Pastors, planting churches, building worship centers. Supporting orphanages and every other aspect of missions we can do.  As humble servants to our KING JESUS WE will continue in till “He “Calls me home
